SHIPPING CLERK

Monday - Friday

8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepare, package, and label products for shipment according to company and customer requirements.
Verify shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier documentation.
Pick, stage, and process customer orders accurately and on time.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Track shipments and inventory movements using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to meet shipping schedules.
Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve shipping-related issues.
Maintain organized shipping records and inventory documentation.
Assist with general warehouse operations and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and work orders.
Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment preferred; certification or ability to obtain certification required.
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
