Civil Engineer III - Land Development

We’re partnering with a growing, employee-owned engineering consulting firm to hire a Civil Engineer III focused on land development. What You’ll Be Doing Lead technical design for land development projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities Prepare and review engineering reports, construction drawings, and permit packages Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions Participate in client meetings and communicate technical recommendations Support project execution, including scope, scheduling, and coordination Maintain quality control by reviewing deliverables for accuracy and completeness What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license required 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development Proficiency in Civil 3D and related design tools Strong knowledge of land development regulations and permitting Experience with grading, utilities, and construction documentation Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work Strong communication skills in a team and client‑facing environment Mentoring experience and project management exposure are a plus Why This Role Join a stable, employee‑owned firm with a strong regional presence Work on diverse land development projects with real impact Collaborative culture with opportunities to mentor and grow #J-18808-Ljbffr Talisman
