Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using approved techniques and established standards
• Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT room equipment
• Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition and patient positioning
• Minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles for maximum patient protection
• Process images in PACS system for radiologist review
• Complete examinations per radiologist protocols
• Document, charge, and process within electronic medical records
• Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor
• Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams
• Participate in quality control for equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
• Ensure examinations are completed in timely and correct manner
• Provide customer service to patients and staff
• Rotation of call and weekend shifts required
• Required credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
• Preferred experience: 1 year as CT technologist
• Must demonstrate clinical proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy/physiology
