The hospital is designed around rapid triage, diagnostics and patient stabilization, with experienced veterinary technicians and client service professionals supporting doctors throughout each shift. The Opportunity This position would suit an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys the variety and challenge of after-hours medicine while wanting greater flexibility around their working schedule. You’ll be responsible for triaging, diagnosing, stabilizing and treating emergency patients, working closely with an experienced veterinary support team throughout each shift. The role offers exposure across: Emergency and urgent care Patient triage Critical stabilization Emergency diagnostics Diagnostic imaging Acute medical case management Soft tissue procedures Client communication during emergency situations Coordination of referral care when required An interest in surgery would be particularly valuable, with opportunities to perform appropriate soft tissue procedures as part of the hospital's emergency caseload. Scheduling is one of the major advantages of the position. As an after-hours hospital, shifts are concentrated around evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, but there are several different working patterns available. Options can include a 30-hour working week that remains eligible for full-time benefits, traditional part-time schedules and overnight/weekend-focused arrangements.
