Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery cases including CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, aortic dissections, and LVAD procedures
• Maintain a 1:2 staffing ratio within the cardiovascular operating room environment
• Float to other surgical services (e.g., General, Urology, ENT) within the OR as cardiac volume fluctuates, averaging approximately once per week
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 5 call shifts per month, with varying days and hours
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery procedures
• Experience with CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, aortic dissections, and LVADs
• PA Fingerprints (Childline) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with vascular and thoracic surgery procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, and open AAA repair
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
