Our MGB electronic documentation system gives you easy access to medical records, doctors’ notes, orders, and other clinical information, helping make communication and care coordination more seamless.Your safety mattersWe provide safety resources to support you in the field, including:• GPS-enabled safety tools• Real-time alert features• Security-supported key fob accessWhat you’ll doAs a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy, and work closely with patients, families, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team.• Complete comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals• Provide skilled speech-language and swallowing therapy in the home• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations• Assess and address communication, cognition, and swallowing needs• Make recommendations for appropriate compensatory strategies, adaptive techniques, and equipment as indicated• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to initiate and support transition to outpatient services as appropriate• Document evaluations, treatment, progress, and care coordination activities• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, effective, patient-centered care• Deliver high-quality care that helps patients maximize their independence and quality of lifeQualificationsWhat you’ll bringGraduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology programCurrent Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist licenseTwo year’s experience in acute care, rehab or homecare as a Speech TherapistComfort working with various computer systems; experience with handheld clinical devices preferredStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populationsStrong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environmentAbility to work independently and remain self-directed in unpredictable situationsAbility to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care teamWillingness to travel within the MGB Healthcare at Home geographic areaExcellent communication skills—written, verbal, and electronicAdditional Job Details (if applicable)Join a team backed by Mass General BrighamWith the resources of the Mass General Brigham system behind you, you’ll have the support, tools, and opportunities to grow your career while providing high-quality speech-language services in patients’ homes.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, along with ongoing opportunities for training, education, and professional development.
