About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend required. No call coverage.

Highlights:

• Primary assignment on a Comprehensive Medical Unit with occasional float to various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department overflow
• Epic EMR system in use – current proficiency is mandatory
• 13-week contract assignment with predictable scheduling
• Diverse patient population with exposure to multiple specialty areas
• Telemetry monitoring experience utilized daily
• Day shift schedule provides excellent work-life balance

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience required
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry (competency testing administered on first day)
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required – must be able to navigate independently from day one
• Strong Med-Surg nursing background with ability to care for diverse patient populations
