Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager on active commercial projects by managing project documentation, procurement tracking, schedule updates, and financial reporting. This is a development role intended to prepare the right candidate for advancement to Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain submittal, RFI, and change order logs; follow up on outstanding items
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and project correspondence
• Distribute drawings, specifications, and addenda; maintain project contact and distribution lists
• Assist in preparing subcontract and purchase order packages
• Track material deliveries and flag long-lead items in coordination with the Superintendent
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules; track milestone dates
• Assist in preparing Applications for Payment and change order proposals with supporting documentation
• Track subcontractor pay applications and lien waivers; run cost reports and identify variances

Reports to the Project Manager. No direct reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in construction project coordination or a comparable role with a general contractor or subcontractor
• Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software such as Procore
• Strong written communication skills; correspondence goes directly to Owners and design teams
• Highly organized with consistent attention to detail
• Interest in advancing to a Project Manager role
