Pharmaceutical Development Scientist II

Catalent seeks a Pharmaceutical Development Scientist II to support formulation and process design for oral solid dosage forms and clinical trial manufacturing in Kansas City. The role involves executing development projects, training staff on laboratory techniques, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and GMP standards.
Responsibilities
- Train others on laboratory procedures and technical techniques
- Execute efficiency improvement projects with supervisory guidance
- Conduct work in GMP manufacturing areas with minimal oversight
- Apply technical knowledge to formulation and process design assignments
- Propose deviations from established procedures based on sound judgment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science or physical science field
- 8+ years of related pharmaceutical development work experience
- Ability to develop and execute manufacturing procedures with high quality
- Basic to moderate understanding of manufacturing equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated capability to lead small team projects and identify departmental needs
- Proactive problem-solving at individual and team levels
