Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Networking (CNET) support for a client in Kings Mountain, NC (ZIP 28086) . In this role, you will help facilitate meaningful community connections, promote independence, and assist our client in engaging in local activities and events every Sunday.

Schedule & Hours (Part-Time)

• Location: Kings Mountain, NC (ZIP 28086)

• Community Networking (CNET) Hours:

  • Sunday: 4 Hours (Flexible daytime scheduling)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with participating in community activities, social events, and recreational outings.

• Foster community integration, skill development, and personal growth.

• Collaborate with clients and their families to understand specific goals, hobbies, and preferences.

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding client engagement.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required) .

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or community support experience (Preferred) .

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance (Required) .

• Ability to pass a background check.
