We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help us build, evaluate, and refine AI models trained on complex health data scenarios. Your deep knowledge of how hospital data works — the standards, the compliance requirements, the cross-functional dynamics — is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter, safer, and more trustworthy in healthcare contexts.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background required — just serious expertise in health data governance and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

• Apply your healthcare data governance expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated content related to clinical data, compliance frameworks, and health data management
• Review AI outputs for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with real-world hospital data standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify gaps, errors, and inconsistencies in how AI represents healthcare data governance concepts — including HIPAA, data quality controls, and interoperability
• Provide structured, detailed feedback that helps AI systems better understand clinical, operational, and compliance data workflows
• Draw on cross-functional experience with clinical, IT, and compliance stakeholders to assess the practical accuracy of AI-generated scenarios
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health informatics
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory frameworks — particularly HIPAA and related compliance standards
• Familiar with how data policies, workflows, and governance structures operate across hospital environments
• Able to evaluate technical and clinical content with precision and authority
• Clear, structured communicator who can document feedback effectively
• Detail-oriented and consistent — you notice when something doesn't meet the standard
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or information governance systems
• Background working across clinical, IT, compliance, or operational teams in a hospital or health system
• Familiarity with EHR systems, health data standards (HL7, FHIR), or clinical reporting frameworks
• Prior involvement in regulatory audits, data quality initiatives, or governance program development
