As a Hospice Clinical Branch Director, you’ll lead day‑to‑day operations while staying closely connected to the care being delivered – supporting your team and ensuring a consistent, high standard across the branch. You’ll work alongside experienced leaders who prioritize both patient outcomes and team engagement. The expectation is to lead with consistency and accountability – supporting your team, making thoughtful decisions, and following through. This role is well‑suited for a leader who values doing things the right way – clinically, operationally, and culturally – and understands that long‑term performance is built through quality care, strong leadership, and trust. What You’ll Do Oversee branch operations, financials, and performance with a long‑term mindset Monitor key indicators like quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and team stability Ensure the branch operates efficiently while never compromising care Recognize that growth is the result of doing the right things consistently Ensure every patient and family receives compassionate, high‑quality hospice care Set the tone for a patient‑first culture where dignity, communication, and experience matter Partner closely with clinical leaders to maintain strong outcomes, compliance, and survey readiness Be present and engaged – supporting your team in delivering care, not just directing it Recruit and develop a team that reflects the heart of the community you serve Create a culture of support, accountability, and consistency Coach leaders and clinicians to grow, while holding clear expectations for performance Be a leader your team trusts – visible, approachable, and steady Build genuine relationships with local providers, referral partners, and families Represent VitalCaring as a trusted, dependable partner in the community Support thoughtful growth through reputation, service, and follow‑through What You’ll Bring Active RN license (required) 3+ years of leadership experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare operations Strong understanding of clinical quality, compliance, and regulatory standards Experience leading teams with a focus on engagement, retention, and development Ability to manage operations while keeping patient care at the center of decisions Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Virtual care and mental health support Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) Supplemental health and life insurance 401(k) with company match Employee referral program Prepaid legal services Identity theft protection Generous paid time off Tuition and continuing education reimbursement All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
