Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care, focusing on wound management and healing processes in a hyperbaric medicine environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients with various types of wounds.
• Administer wound treatments and therapies as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care practices and prevention.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.

Schedule

This position requires a day shift, working five 8-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend unless otherwise specified.

Holidays

The traveler is expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. A detailed holiday schedule will be provided upon hire.

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance with all pre-employment requirements is mandatory for timely start dates. Failure to meet compliance can result in a delayed start.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with a preference for wound care experience.
• Current, valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Ability to float within facility as needed and assist with outpatient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

This position is suitable for first-time travelers, and local candidates are also welcomed and will receive the same rate.

Orientation hours required will vary based on contract length.
