Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, working alongside physicians or independently based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management techniques
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your area of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Collaborating seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, holistic care
• Accurately and diligently documenting within electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
