Pricing Specialist

Job Title

Essential Job Functions

Updates and maintains the Global Pricing Database and the Global Marketing database

Facilitates the completion of Global Air and Ocean RFQ's

Supports all Global Sales Team members with pricing inquiries

Provides marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members

Involved in quarterly business reviews where warranted for the development of new solution and or pricing

Manages data for clients including generating and maintaining customized data sets for business reviews with clients and carriers

Prepares customized solutions for new clients or expansion of services offered to existing clients as it related to pricings and products and support of sales

Helps facilitate carrier quarterly business reviews

Monthly / Quarterly carrier trend reporting and as assigned by manager

Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Other Skill and Abilities

Must have very strong computer skills associated with the utilization of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project

Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's Degree preferred

1-3 years of RFQ Management required

1-3 years of Pricing Database Management required

Minimum 1 year of Global Airfreight and Ocean Freight Pricing experience required

1-3 years experience in working with Kewill Global Forwarding System

1-3 years statistical analysis experience

Certification & Licenses

Professional certification may be required in some areas

California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 70,304 - 78,000 annually.
