CNC Lathe Machinist | 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm or 10am-6:30pm (Flexible) | WEEKLY PAY - $30-34/hr | Job Description

In this CNC Machinist role, you’ll set up and run HAAS lathes and mills, work with MasterCAM, and take ownership of quality precision parts from start to finish. What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and HAAS machines with precision
• Work with MasterCAM programs and assist with edits or improvements
• Inspect parts and make real-time adjustments to ensure top quality
• Perform basic machine upkeep and keep your workspace dialed in
• Jump in where needed—assembly, packaging, and general shop support
• Collaborate with a small, experienced team to solve problems and hit goals

What You Bring

• CNC lathe setup and operation experience
• Familiarity with HAAS controls
• Ability to read machining instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Team-first attitude and willingness to stay flexible

Bonus Skills

• MasterCAM experience
• Experience with mills or additional CNC equipment

Schedule & Environment

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (with swing shift flexibility)
• Clean, practical shop using HAAS machines & MasterCAM
• 10-person team with strong communication and teamwork

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
