Location: San Antonio, TX (onsite) Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: Up to $18.10/hour Duration: 6 months, with potential extension and possible conversion for the right candidate Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM Interview: One 30-minute in-person interview

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to support day-to-day back-office operations involving document handling, mail processing, and data/document updates.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an operations, financial back-office, banking, or document-processing environment and be comfortable working across multiple applications. Experience with financial documents is highly preferred, as it will help the candidate quickly identify, process, and route different types of documents accurately.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine operational support activities
• Process and organize incoming and outgoing mail
• Perform mail runs and distribute documents to the appropriate locations
• Review and update documents and records
• Identify different types of financial and operational documents
• Route and file documents according to established procedures
• Work across multiple applications and systems to complete daily tasks
• Maintain accuracy while processing a high volume of documents
• Follow established procedures and escalate questions or issues when needed
• Communicate with internal teams regarding basic operational information
• Identify opportunities to improve individual work processes
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 6+ months of operations support experience or equivalent experience through work, training, education, military service, or consulting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Comfortable working with multiple applications/systems
• Ability to manage routine tasks independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work onsite MondayFriday

Preferred:

• Financial back-office experience
• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience working with financial documents
• Document processing or records management experience
• Mailroom or operations experience
• Experience working with multiple business applications
