Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor This role oversees daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met. The Production Supervisor leads a team on the shop floor, drives process and continuous improvement initiatives, and maintains strong production metrics through effective supervision, coaching, and coordination of activities. Supervise daily production operations to ensure output meets established quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Monitor, maintain, and achieve daily production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Track, monitor, and record attendance for all team members in the production area. Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to production employees to support performance and development. Administer discipline fairly and consistently in alignment with company policies and expectations. Promote and maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and addressing hazards promptly. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices, to streamline operations. Coordinate production activities to meet customer service expectations and delivery timelines. Oversee assembly operations and ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a production supervisor role. Proven experience maintaining and achieving daily production metrics and KPIs. Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement initiatives in a production environment. Experience disciplining and coaching employees in a fair, consistent, and constructive manner. Ability to monitor, track, and accurately record attendance within a production team. Strong production supervision and production management skills. This is a permanent position based out of Warren, MI. The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr.
