Medical Surgical Registered NurseRegistered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS & PALS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience requiredDescription: Will care for some pediatric patients and some IMU level patients. Ratios are acuity-based and most patients are low acuity. Community hospital experience is required. Candidates will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Every other weekend coverage is required. Unit supports interdisciplinary services including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Phlebotomy. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 10. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically Epic. Skills required include managing ports, administering blood products, and handling various medical procedures. Candidates must have experience in telemetry monitoring. References from previous positions held within the past year are required. Candidates should submit a complete work history with no gaps greater than 30 days.
