About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Team. The CFO will be responsible for the financial integrity and long-term health of the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, overseeing budgeting processes, and providing financial leadership to various business units. The CFO will also be involved in evaluating the financial performance of business opportunities, managing cash, and overseeing financial aspects of contracting. Additionally, the CFO will serve as a senior financial advisor, maintain relationships with external financial stakeholders, and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost management. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a BA, BS, or MS degree in accounting, with an MBA preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in financial management leadership. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite is required, along with strong financial analysis skills, and a proven track record in problem-solving, goal setting, and achievement. The successful candidate will be adept at promoting a team concept, and a positive work environment, and will have a history of successful execution against financial plans. Responsibilities also include managing enterprise risk, maintaining financial policies, and overseeing the organization's financial systems and technology. The CFO will be expected to continuously improve the internal control environment and lead the organization in identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and other enterprise risks.
