Automotive Technician

Job Overview MINI of Tempe, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Ensure customers have a world‑class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially during vehicle repairs. Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards. Communicate clearly and effectively with Service Advisors about technical details of customer vehicles. Comply with manufacturer quality and timeliness standards, and ensure estimates and work orders are accurate. Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting shop operations, including hazardous‑waste handling, OSHA, and protective equipment use. Qualifications 3+ years of dealership experience (brand knowledge preferred but not required). Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment. Genuine interest in providing exceptional customer experience. Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team‑player attitude. Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
