Forklift Operator

This position requires operating a forklift in a rugged outdoor, paved, and unpaved environment. The role demands working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility that includes both covered and uncovered areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flat beds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording, and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels, and production schedules.
• Assist with pallet restacks, including cutting and dumping product, lifting bags of product, and restacking on pallets and rewrapping.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed on a temporary or permanent basis.

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and materials handling equipment.
• Experience with picking, loading, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to use boom lifts and extended boom arm forklift equipment.

• Experience in operating stretch wrap machines and film roll up-enders.
• Knowledge of organizing product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Skill in validating packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation.

Work Environment

This role is set in a mostly outdoor environment, requiring adaptability to both paved and unpaved conditions in a covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, MD.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
