Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an urgent-priority opportunity at a Western Missouri hospital.
This position offers a community-based Emergency Medicine practice with a manageable annual volume, established physician and advanced practice provider coverage, and a Level III Trauma Center designation.
Qualified physicians should be comfortable practicing in an environment with limited specialty backup and managing a broad range of emergency presentations.

24 hours of physician coverage
12 hours of mid-level coverage
Approximately 23% admission rate

52 hospital beds
13 ED beds
Limited specialty backup

12-hour shifts
6:00 AM 6:00 PM

Physician Requirements:
Board Certification:
Candidates should meet one of the following:
ABEM or BEEM
ABFM with Emergency Medicine experience
Alternative board certifications, such as ABPS, may be considered for physicians who successfully completed an Emergency Medicine-focused Family Medicine residency
Required Certifications:
ACLS
ATLS
PALS
NIHSS
Physicians should be comfortable managing the clinical responsibilities of a Level III Trauma Center and working with limited on-site specialty backup.
