JSG is seeking a Data analyst with Project Manager skills

Overview
This is a dynamic, collaborative position designed for someone passionate about managing projects and transforming data into actionable insights. You’ll support critical initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, organizing complex requirements, and delivering clear, impactful reports.

 

What You’ll Do

• Lead project planning efforts, establishing timelines, tracking action items, managing risks, and updating status reports.
• Facilitate meetings and follow-ups with stakeholders across business and IT teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Gather, document, and communicate detailed business requirements, process steps, and key decision points.
• Support testing activities, including managing test cases, coordinating user acceptance testing, logging issues, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Analyze procurement, supplier, spend, and category data to identify trends, opportunities, and efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI summaries using tools like Excel and Power BI.
• Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare clear presentations and executive summaries, translating data into actionable insights customized for stakeholders.
• Document processes, data definitions, and training materials to support ongoing project success.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or data analysis
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills to summarize data and project status effectively
• Ability to organize information and maintain team focus on next steps

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Basic SQL or Databricks skills
• Procurement, supply chain, SAP, or supplier data familiarity
