Job Title: TRAVEL - RN PEDS CICU (646) / MC Dallas Childrens / 7P-7A

Location: Dallas, TX

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1520.85 - 1596.89

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as staff nurse; 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU; 2 years minimum PICU experience as staff nurse; experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease and post operative management of CHD patients; experience with management of arterial lines, central lines, transthoracic lines; PALS, BLS, ACLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to pediatric patients in the CICU setting, including post-operative cardiac patients
• Manage central lines and arterial lines with appropriate protocols
• Perform and assist with procedures such as intubation, extubation, and sternal closures
• Respond to emergency codes and participate in code situations efficiently
• Support post-op recovery of general and cardiac procedures
