Physically handles 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails and containers of chemicals, paints and solvents in preparation for segregation for waste storage and disposal. Utilizes hand tools, hand truck to move and handle waste containers and drums. Works with the waste water / hazardous waste operator to prepare and ship waste for disposal. Uses powered equipment such as waste compactors, truck with lift gates and forklifts to move waste around facility. Pushed / Pull on-powered waste bins with waste for segregation and disposal. Must be able to work with, around and handle around different chemicals and waste.looking for someone with prior hazardous waste handling experience, forklift use.
