We are looking for a QE Lead (Automation) to join our growing team in the United States! Role Summary We are looking for a dynamic QE Lead with strong expertise in both functional testing and test automation to lead the quality engineering efforts for a third‑party administrator of life insurance policies initiative. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the policy administration lifecycle, defining and executing the QE plan, managing a test team, and ensuring high‑quality delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the QE planning and execution for the TPA initiative. Define and manage functional test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Build and maintain automation test suites for UI, SIT, and E2E validation using industry‑standard tools. Oversee test data management, environment setup, and test execution cycles. Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Mentor and manage QE team members across onshore/offshore locations. Experience Level 7+ years in QE/QA with 4+ years in leadership roles. Required Skills & Experience Strong US Insurance market knowledge – Policy Lifecycle, Policy Admin systems. Deep understanding of insurance payments workflows, policy administration, and financial integrations. Hands‑on experience with automation tools like Selenium and API testing tools like Postman. Experience with Agile methodologies, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification or hands‑on experience with TPA implementations. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps tools. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Must Have Test Automation (C# with Selenium). Lead experience – mentor and manage a team of at least 7 QE team members across onshore/offshore locations focused on Functional/Manual/Test Automation. Insurance or financial domain experience, preferably in Policy Lifecycle, Wealth Management services (annuities experience ideally).
