Preferred Skills Ability to read tape measure, micrometer and combination square Ability to interpret layout drawings Basic shop math skills and the ability to read parts prints Ability to mill, drill and sand Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Ability to stand for 8 hours per day Routine bending and squatting to get parts off pallets and return finished parts to pallet Occasional driving of stand‑up or sit‑down forklift Ability to follow directions Ability to work around moving machines, equipment Ability to use hands and arms (reach above head when necessary) Strong work ethic Good attendance/punctuality Ability to talk, hear frequently Ability to walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, etc. Abides by company policy on matters related to civil rights of employees (e.g., sexual harassment).
