Grounds Crew/Maintenance Attendant
Location: Mooresville, NC
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Seasonal
The Town of Mooresville is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Assistant to join our Golf Course Grounds Crew. This position assists with maintaining the golf course grounds and landscaping to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment for golfers and visitors.
Grounds Crew/ Maintenance Attendant Responsibilities:
- Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain turf areas
- Assist with planting, watering, and general landscape upkeep
- Remove debris and maintain course cleanliness
- Operate and care for landscaping equipment
- Follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
Grounds Crew/ Maintenance Attendant Schedule:
- Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Summer Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM and Friday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Grounds Crew/ Maintenance Attendant Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Steel-toe boots are required.
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal position that typically runs through September.
- Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, or golf course experience is helpful but not required.
