What You'll Do

• Perform ThinPrep screening for GYN and Non-GYN specimens, including smear and cytospin preparations
• Assist with onsite FNA procedures, handling specimen labeling and identification
• Conduct preliminary diagnoses and interpret cytological findings
• Prepare and stain slides for diagnostic review
• Support on-site procedures by providing specimen processing and analysis in accordance with best practices
• Maintain rigorous documentation and quality control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses

What You Need

• Active CT (ASCP) certification and Louisiana State License (LSBME) as Cytotechnologist
• Minimum of 2 years of cytotechnology experience, including FNA procedures and ThinPrep screening
• Skilled in staining, specimen preparation, and preliminary diagnosis
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Experience in GYN and Non-GYN cytology preferred
