About the Role

The RN Supervisor provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for the Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit. This role supports a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff on a dynamic Med Surg/Tele Trauma unit
• Promote a positive team environment, mentoring and developing staff to achieve their full potential
• Coordinate daily operations including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with BSWH policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives
• Partner with leadership to drive quality, safety, and patient experience goals
• Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Respond to patient care concerns and assist with clinical decision-making as needed

• Brand-new Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2–3 years of acute care experience, preferably in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Trauma
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and team leadership skills

Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.
