CPH is looking for a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL .
Hiring Bonus of up to $5,000 for selected candidate! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful municipal infrastructure projects from initial planning and design through permitting, construction, and project close-out. Our projects span from small wastewater collection or water distribution projects to multi-MGD water and wastewater treatment facilities.Duties Include:
- Assist in the planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and utility systems.
- Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, permitting documents, and cost estimates.
- Perform technical analysis and research, hydraulic modeling, and report preparation.
- Engage directly with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction oversight.
- Effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
- Must have passed their PE and be able to obtain their Professional Engineering license in Florida.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering or municipal infrastructure preferred.
- Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, or similar design software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software is a plus.
- Dependent upon experience.
