Public Works Estimator - School & Government Projects

Public Works Construction Estimator (California)

US Accurate Construction & Development Inc. is seeking an experienced Public Works Estimator to assist with bidding public projects throughout California.

Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Obtain and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes
Calculate labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs
Estimate projects using California prevailing wage requirements
Review DIR requirements and public works compliance
Prepare complete bid summaries and recommendations

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of construction estimating experience
Experience estimating California public works projects
Knowledge of prevailing wage and DIR requirements
Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans
Experience with school districts, city, county, or government projects preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Required: Experience estimating California public works projects, prevailing wage labor, DIR compliance, subcontractor bid leveling, and public agency bidding
