Restaurant General Manager

Overview We are a FoodTech startup developing automated cooking robotics. To showcase our technology in a real-world environment, we are opening a small fast-casual restaurant that will serve as our flagship business and live demo site. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager (5+ years of experience) who is excited about operational excellence and the future of kitchen automation. Responsibilities Run the Restaurant: Manage all daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring high standards for food quality and guest service. Bridge Tech & Operations: Partner closely with our engineering team. You\'ll provide critical, real-world feedback on robot performance and help optimize kitchen workflows. Build the Team: Recruit, train, and lead a lean, efficient restaurant team for this new launch. Manage the Business: Oversee inventory, local compliance, health inspections, and day-to-day store performance. Qualifications 5+ Years of Asian/Chinese Cuisine Experience: Proven track record with 5+ years in restaurant management, with specific and deep experience managing Asian or Chinese restaurant concepts. Independent Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to independently build, organize, and operate an entire restaurant team and workflow from the ground up. High Adaptability & Resilience under Pressure: Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to handle the high-stress, fast-paced environment of a restaurant opening.
