About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years in CVOR License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Must be flexible for call requirements. - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Description: Call will vary based on department needs. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Previous charge experience is required. Previous patient ratio experience is expected. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Experience in an acute care hospital is preferred. Travel experience is required. Trauma Level I and II experience is required. Weekday call requirements include 2 primary calls (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM) and 2 secondary calls (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM). Weekend call requirements include 2 primary calls (one day of 12 hours at a time, either 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM) and 2 secondary calls (one day of 12 hours at a time, either 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM). Float between different facilities may be required. Unit supports adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 1. The unit has a small cardiac program. General, ortho, spine, or robot experience would be beneficial. Call coverage is needed regularly. References are required covering one year within the last three years. Completion of modules is required prior to start and annually thereafter.
