Supervisor of CTE and Humanities - Grades 9-12

Description:


To provide leadership in the development, implementation and coordination of the district's curriculum and instruction.

• Valid New Jersey School Administrative Certificate with a supervisor endorsement.
• Hold a standard teaching certificate, preferably in one of the supervised areas.
• Hold a Master's degree from an accredited institution (college or university).
• Have a minimum of five years of teaching/administrative experience.
• Have excellent administrative and/or teaching experience and work with students.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to motivate people.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Career and Technical Education and English Language Arts.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of curriculum development and program evaluation, child growth, and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.
