Survey Party Chief

We are looking for an experienced and skilled *Survey Party Chief* to join our team for various projects in the Tallahassee, Florida and surrounding area. In this role, you will lead and manage a survey field crew, working on diverse design, mapping, and construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure precise data collection, efficient field operations, and adherence to project specifications. Attention to detail is key in every project we undertake, no matter the size. *Key Responsibilities:* * Supervise and direct field survey crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. * Operate and oversee the use of Total Stations, GPS, and other survey equipment. * Maintain clear and concise documentation of all survey phases. * Utilize advanced knowledge of survey methods and instruments to guide field operations. * Interpret construction plans and execute survey work in line with project requirements. * Perform mathematical calculations, including algebra and trigonometry, to support survey tasks. * Monitor project timelines to ensure efficient completion of fieldwork. * Adapt to field conditions and weather, including rough terrain and outdoor environments. *Qualifications:* * High School diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience as a Survey Party Chief. * Located in the Tallahassee, Florida area (No Per Diem) * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Willingness to travel overnight and out-of-state as needed. * Proven experience in survey operations and managing field crews. * Ability to pass pre-employment drug screenings. * Willingness to work weekends and travel overnight when needed. *Benefits*: * Company Vehicle & Gas Card * 401(k) with matching * Dental, health, and vision insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * How soon would you be able to start?
