We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Service Technician with experience in electrical and plumbing repairs who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality work, and brings a positive, high-energy attitude to the team each day.As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systemsComplete service requests accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service to residentsAssist with apartment turns, make-readies, and preventive maintenance projectsMaintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of community grounds and common areasCommunicate professionally and respectfully with residents, vendors, and team members regarding repairs and service updatesParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance requests when neededWork closely with the Service Manager and maintenance team to ensure community standards are consistently exceededDemonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset while contributing to a positive community environmentCompensation & Incentives$1,000 Sign-On BonusBase Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hourUp to 50% Rent DiscountProperty Staff Shared Renewal CommissionsMorgan Essentials: $300 QuarterlyOn-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phoneMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leaveHours & ScheduleMonday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMPaid rotating on-call participation required (approximately every 4 weeks)Must be available and prepared for emergency eventsSchedule subject to change based on business needsWhat We'll Expect from You2+ years of maintenance experience preferredHands-on experience with electrical and plumbing repairsBasic HVAC knowledge; EPA certification is a plusStrong customer service and communication skillsPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and growAbility to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented cultureActive, valid driver's license and personal vehicleMust live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency response
