General Responsibilities Cut, shape and smooth the lumber and other material (i.e., fiberglass) according to measurements Construct, erect, install and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard Read blueprints, drawings and sketches Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings Layout flooring, roofing, and/or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible Build scaffolding and other construction structures Other responsibilities as assigned Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Qualifications Understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation and general construction Skilled position requiring 6+ months of past experience Follow safety guidelines Good physical condition and endurance Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Other duties as needed Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical Post Offer, Pre-Employment Drug Testing required Benefits and Compensation Comprehensive life, health, dental, and short-term disability insurance program 401(k) plan with employer match Safety incentive program Paid vacation Weekly (Friday) paydays Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
