DevOps Engineer (Generalist)

Title: DevOps Engineer (Generalist)*Local to NY Description: Focus: Support SRHG-wide AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure. Own day-to-day operations, improve visibility, and reduce platform toil so the core team can focus on Lego (shared infra buildout).

- Strong understanding of AWS (IAM, S3, EC2, CloudTrail, RDS, VPC, Transit Gateway)
- Proficient with Kubernetes / EKS (cluster ops, manifests, RBAC, upgrades)
- Experience with Datadog (dashboards, alerts, APM)
- Comfortable with GitHub Actions (workflows, runners, secrets)
- Familiar with FinOps practices and cost tools (nOps, Kubecost, tagging, resource optimization)
- Execute small infra projects independently
- Respond to AWS/EKS issues and follow through to resolution
- Improve tagging, monitoring, and cost visibility across environments
- Collaborate with internal engineers to offload repeatable operational work
