This role, based in a high-acuity environment, involves working in a Level I Trauma Center and includes floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit as needed. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Nurse

• Manage the care of patients in a 74-bed Emergency Department
• Provide acute care to trauma patients in a high-pressure environment
• Deliver inpatient-level care to patients in the Emergency Transitional Care Unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Float to various units as needed for optimal patient care management

Requirements of the Emergency Department Nurse

• Active RN license with a clean record
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience with Level I Trauma centers preferred
• Epic charting system experience highly preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination, with exemptions allowed
