Responsible for ensuring proper food safety and that all food preparation guidelines are followed./ppEssential duties include preparing quality and nutritious meals, ensuring proper food safety, serving meals to students in a friendly manner, cleaning kitchens and equipment, operating cash registers, maintaining inventory, and providing quality customer service./ppKnowledge of school rules, regulations, and procedures; ability to communicate and relate effectively to others orally and in writing; good interpersonal skills; ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment; ability to work in a team environment; ability to measure and calculate quantities for cooking; knowledge of Safe Serve guidelines and HACCP policies; knowledge of state and federal food services policies./ppEducation and experience: Completion of high school/GED. No experience required. Preferred: Food Safe Serve Certificate. Blood Borne Pathogens./p/div
