Events Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Events Assistant to operate a kiosk during events at a large entertainment venue. This role includes assisting guests, preparing and selling food, beverages, or merchandise, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for all attendees. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient service Operate a kiosk selling food, drinks, or merchandise Prepare simple food or beverage items as required Handle cash/card transactions using a POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kiosk area Restock products, supplies, and inventory throughout the event Follow venue policies, safety guidelines, and food-handling procedures Assist with opening and closing duties before and after events Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and venue policies Work collaboratively with supervisors and other event staff Qualifications No formal education required; high school diploma preferred Previous customer service, retail, or concession experience is a plus Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and multitasking skills Comfortable handling money and operating a POS system Positive attitude and commitment to great guest service Shifts are event-based and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Fast-paced, high-energy environment with large crowds Compensation Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for tips depending on kiosk type Additional perks may include free or discounted event entry, depending on venue policies #J-18808-Ljbffr
