Lead Bartender

Overview Redmont Hotel offers a part‑time bartender position (PM shift 3 pm‑11 pm) within the Food & Beverage team, providing quality guest service and crafting cocktails. The role is located in Birmingham and managed by Spire Hospitality, LLC. Essential Job Functions Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and attentiveness. Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently. Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring products are stocked and readily accessible. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages. Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods. Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas. Support other F&B staff as needed as the lead bartender. Physical Demands Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs. Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift. Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years bartender experience at a similar size operation; hotel experience preferred. Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required. Food Handlers Certification required. Completion of bartending school or mixology certification preferred. Licenses & Certifications Alcohol Service certification preferred.
