AssemblerThis role focuses on assembling, wiring, and preparing electrical panels and boxes that form part of pump units distributed globally. You will read and interpret electrical schematics, use a variety of hand and power tools, and ensure each assembled product meets precise technical and aesthetic standards. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who want to build their skills in electrical panel assembly in a clean, production-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret electrical schematics to lay out and assemble electrical panels and boxes.Use hand and power tools to cut holes, assemble, and piece together electrical boxes and panels.Flex and bend wire using both hands and appropriate tools to meet layout and design requirements.Mount, wire, and assist with testing of assembled electrical panels to ensure proper function.Work with various hand and power tools such as drills, T-squares, hammers, lights, electrical tools, hydraulic and electric punchouts, jigsaws, sanders, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers.Collaborate closely with team members, using strong interpersonal skills to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.Maintain a consistent level of quality and accuracy, meeting production standards and deadlines.Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and comfort working with a variety of hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics or willingness to be trained in schematic reading.Ability to read and understand safety rules, policy manuals, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Capability to perform basic math and measurements quickly and accurately for cutting and laying out panels.High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics to ensure finished products look professional for customer display.Interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.Comfort wearing safety toe shoes as part of required personal protective equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsEntry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.Willingness to learn how to read blueprints and electrical schematics.Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures and quality standards.Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in repetitive production tasks.Strong focus on safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.Why Work Here?You will join a clean, organized production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are highly valued. Standard hours run Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays. The facility is scheduled to move to a new location at the end of 2026, and employees should be comfortable transitioning to the new site when the move occurs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canby, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
