Job Summary

Join Impact Canvassing as a Door-to-Door Canvasser and become a vital part of our community engagement and outreach efforts! In this role, you will connect directly with residents, conduct brief voter surveys, and gather valuable feedback through face-to-face conversations.

Canvassers are paid based on completed surveys, with typical earnings ranging from $25–$30 per hour based on performance .

Must be able to pass a FULL background check.

Duties

• Engage residents through friendly, professional face-to-face conversations
• Conduct brief surveys with voters in assigned neighborhoods
• Accurately record survey responses and interactions using a mobile device
• Identify potential supporters and encourage participation in the election
• Walk assigned neighborhoods efficiently while maintaining professional and respectful interactions
• Coordinate with team members and field leadership to maximize coverage and productivity
• Maintain a positive attitude while working outdoors for extended periods
  

Qualifications

• Previous canvassing, field sales, customer service, or outreach experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect naturally with a wide range of people
• Ability to pass a full background check
• Ability to walk for extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile device for data entry and reporting
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently in the field

Compensation

Pay: $3.50 per completed survey

Canvassers typically complete surveys at a rate of approximately 25% of doors knocked , although individual performance varies. Productive canvassers typically earn approximately $25–$30 per hour , with higher earnings possible based on performance.

This is performance-based compensation. The more completed surveys you generate, the more you earn.
