Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear and empathetic explanations at every stage.
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of exceptional diagnostic images.
• Expertly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any issues that may arise.
• Meticulously document all procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
• Remain up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices to maintain clinical excellence.

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline.
• Preferred: Completion of a Sonography program accredited by CAAHEP.

Certifications Required

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
