Position Overview The Advice Director (Contractor) will support the development and delivery of authoritative investment and retirement guidance. This role will shape the organization's point‑of‑view, produce and edit long‑form financial content, and ensure the highest levels of accuracy, compliance, and audience relevance. The ideal candidate brings deep subject‑matter expertise in investments and retirement planning, strong content‑creation skills, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable advice. Key Responsibilities Develop and articulate the organization's perspective on investments and retirement planning. Create, edit, and validate long‑form articles, guides, and video scripts. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness of all advice messaging. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content with brand voice and audience needs. Apply best practices in content strategy and search engine optimization (SEO) to increase engagement and reach. Serve as a subject‑matter expert, providing authoritative guidance and insights. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. 8+ years of experience in investments and retirement planning. Demonstrated experience creating long‑form content (articles, guides, or video scripts). Preferred Qualifications Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. 5+ years of experience in financial planning, financial advising, or a related role. 1+ years of experience in content strategy and SEO best practices.
