At   Active Learning Centers we believe the first years of a child’s life are incredibly important. Our Infant Teachers create a warm, nurturing classroom where babies feel safe, loved, and ready to learn. We are looking for an experienced Infant Teacher who is confident caring for infants, understands the importance of daily routines, and takes pride in providing high-quality care and early learning experiences.

What You'll Do

As an Infant Teacher, you will be an important part of each child's early development. Your day will include:

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging infant classroom
• Providing responsive, individualized care based on each child's needs and development
• Planning and providing age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, movement, language, and social development
• Following infant feeding, sleeping, diapering, and daily care routines
• Maintaining accurate classroom records and daily communication with families
• Building positive, professional relationships with parents and caregivers
• Observing developmental milestones and sharing important updates with families and leadership
• Working closely with fellow teachers and leadership to provide consistent, high-quality care
• Maintaining a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
• Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development

Who We're Looking For

Professional childcare experience is strongly preferred , especially experience working in a licensed daycare or early childhood center.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced and confident working with infants
• Knowledgeable about infant development and appropriate care practices
• Warm, patient, dependable, and nurturing
• Professional and comfortable communicating with families
• Creative and excited to plan meaningful experiences for young children
• A strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
• Committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and positive classroom
• Ready to make a difference in the lives of children and their families

Education in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field is a plus!

Competitive Pay: $15–$18 per hour

Pay is based on experience, education, and qualifications.
