Our menus reflect this attention to bringing nutritious, delicious food to those who need it most.Position OverviewThe Event Producer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events and special dining experiences, from initial concept through post-event follow-up.This role ensures high-level event execution by managing logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site production while delivering an elevated guest experience.We are looking for a candidate who is:A highly organized and creative event professionalCalm and resourceful under pressure with excellent problem-solving skillsPassionate about food, hospitality, and creating memorable experiencesA strong collaborator who can manage multiple stakeholders and moving partsThe ideal candidate blends creativity with operational precision and thrives in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Production (40%)Plan, coordinate, and produce catering events and special dining experiences from concept to completionDevelop event timelines, run-of-show documents, rental orders, layouts, BEOs, station diagrams and other production plansManage on-site event execution, ensuring all elements meet quality and timing expectationsTroubleshoot issues in real time and make adjustments to ensure seamless deliveryClient Management (25%)Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the event planning and execution processConduct discovery meetings to understand client objectives, preferences, and budgetsProvide creative recommendations for menus, themes, and event formatsEnsure client satisfaction through proactive communication and post-event follow-upCross-Functional Coordination (25%)Collaborate with Culinary, Operations, and FOH teams on menu development, staffing, and logisticsEnsure on-budget event execution, meeting KPI targets and upselling profitable servicesCoordinate with external vendors for rentals, décor, AV, and specialty servicesSupport the sales and account management team with site visits, tastings, and proposal developmentOperations & Reporting (10%)Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and post-event summariesTrack event metrics including client satisfaction, revenue, and operational performanceTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support business priorities and ensure successful event executionRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of event production or event management experienceStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience managing catering events, corporate events, or large-scale food service eventsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple events simultaneouslyA commitment to personal accountability and continuous learningFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as events requirePreferred QualificationsExperience in corporate catering, hospitality, or food service event productionEstablished vendor relationships in the NYC events spaceExperience with CRM or event management platformsExperience with project management software (Asana preferred)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceKey CompetenciesEvent production and logisticsClient relationship managementCreative problem-solvingCross-functional collaborationAttention to detail under pressureRole DetailsTitle: Event ProducerLocation: Hybrid (NYC); onsite for eventsSchedule: Monday–Friday; frequent evenings and weekends required for eventsReports to: Director of CateringCompensation: $70,000–$80,000 base + bonus potentialBenefitsMedical insuranceSick leavePaid time off that increases with tenure401(k)Daily family mealPotential for bonuses through our Green Shares employee bonus programEligibility and details subject to company policyGreen Top Farms is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
